King Mo was booted from Zuffa just now:

Yup, a lot of interesting fights can be made with Mo outside Zuffa (including possibly Rampage).
Maybe he should be ranked #2 after Mousasi.

I was wondering what your thoughts were on that. He holds a decision win over Mousasi from 2 years ago (almost exactly). Since that fight Mousasi has gone 4-0-1 and King Mo has gone 1-1-0 and 1 NC. Mo is either 1 or 2. Mo's loss was to top fighter Feijao by TKO. Who do you think should get number one based on this?
Mo wasn´t better than Mousasi in that fight imo and Gegard did more damage while Mo was taking him down and holding him down. I think Mousasi would have gotten the win in DREAM or M-1. I think Mousasi deserves the #1 spot and Mo #2 especially since Mousasi had more success after their fight. The Jardine fight was a robbery.

Also, since Mousasi was number 1 LHW since last March the top spot shouldn't be taken away from him just because a fighter that defeated him before has entered the ranks.

This goes back to one of the rules in the OP. If you beat the number 1 guy you become number 1. Since becoming number 1, Mousasi has not lost to Mo or anyone else.

Somewhat similarly, if Alvarez beats Aoki, Alvarez becomes number one above Chandler who he just lost to. This is how combat sports should always be ranked. If you beat the number one guy you become number one regardless of the past. That's how titles are passed on as well. That is one thing I hate most about rankings from Sherdog and others where they only follow this rule for UFC.
