It's is great that they signed ayaka Hamasaki to Rizin she definitely is one of the best in the world pound for pound.

My opinion on the whole goat thing is that when people say they won't be able to compete against today's athletes I think they're missing the point in that the reason this person is called the goat is that no matter what Era they would be the man or woman. That is why I consider fedor to be the greatest because if he was born in 1986 instead of 1976 he would be the man. I

Rizin has another prospect signing guys name is jaizihirno rozentirk how ever it is spelt it is great seeing Rizin signing prospects. But as I said they should go to different countries and look out for talent and show that the ufc isn't the only player in town.

That's the problem in my country as I'm sure in other countries in that people don't know mma but know the ufc or they call mma ufc and people I say majority not all have this "I have to get to the ufc mentality" rather then the one who will give me the best purse for my fights.

Same thing in America for years. It was especially bad in the late 2000s as you had a lot of people who didn't know MMA and just assumed the sport was "UFC" and people were definitely obsessed with going there. People have joked for years about casual fans thinking the sport is "UFC" and that fighters "train in UFC". I wouldn't be surprised if there were a lot of fighters who signed a UFC contract without even reading it or having a lawyer read it cause they just wanted to be in the UFC that bad.

Good to hear they keep signing new talent.

It is they should also try and break into the Chinese market as well possibly even other Asian countries as well realistically it won't be as big in the west compared to say the ufc or Bellator though ditto for them as well ..... They can become a major player in Asia

That would be cool to see. I hope they end up going that route. It is working well for ONE FC in Asia.

Yeah, that makes sense to me. Rizin should definitely be able to pull off what ONE FC and ROAD FC have done and more in my opinion. Rizin is the best produced org. in the business.

With Rizin I do want more shows I think 6-8 would be great at the same time the waiting makes it more exciting you definitely need that balance to few and people will loose interest too many and people will get bored with it.

Yeah, 6 would be a good number I think. We are about to get a lot of Rizin with their shows in May, July, August, and September.

Now different question if pride didn't collapse all were so people see it?
A be the same with pride and the ufc having top fighters each?
B the ufc becomes top dog
C pride stays top dog
D mma which I do believe will get too big for their to be one premier organization

I hope Rizin becomes a second big premier organization equal or above UFC one day. They have the right formula for it in my opinion. It is up to the fans now to tune in and show up in force.

I agree though in my opinion for it to work Bellator needs to take over the ufc as top dog in the west because even if Rizin or whatever comes top dog the ufc will always have that island mentality.

As I said before Rizin and Bellator sharing fighters double org champions GP in either org as for the nye simple Japan one year USA the next or were ever. If you think about it if a person wins both the Rizin and Bellator titles and defends both successfully they would be one of the world's best because they can fight comfortably under either rule set, in a cage or a ring.

I would love to see that in the coming years.

I just want add on to that it is good people are going to different organizations but many do have that narrow focus of "I have to be in the ufc " of course ufc fans act like ufc fighters are God's and all other mma fighters are puny mortals.

Don't get me wrong if a person  wants to sign with the ufc that is fine at the end of the day it should be up to the individual. Of course people have to remember in certain organizations require certain kind of fighters example the ufc trash talking and a wwe type personality or a being a knock out artist 1 not everyone is like that and 2 not everyone can.

That is why Rizin and pride were are my favorite organizations at the end of the day the care about the bushido spirit as long as you showed that you were invited back I mean cro cop emelianenko Sakuraba got a huge following just by fighting granted you did have to win to become a champion or grand prix champion.

Also ufc fans are like girls with boy bands one day they act like you're the greatest thing ever the next you're nothing people can add George Saint Pierre doesn't trash talk  and he is popular that is because George has been in the ufc for years and was a dominant champion guaranteed if he was starting today he would not even sniffed a ufc belt he would be considered too boring.

In my country it seems like every mma organization is a ufc feeder league I would not be surprised new Zealand the same. In my view for a mma fighter in country if they don't have that I have to go to the ufc narrow view you pretty much have to fight in other countries. I know it has nothing to do with the topic it does give you an idea on what it is like here.
