After injury knocked Melvin Manhoef off of the Nov. 30 card, middleweight contender John Salter (15-4) has stepped up to meet Chidi Njokuani (18-5) in the night’s headliner.
 
Njokuani made his Bellator debut in the welterweight division with a decisive victory over Ricky Rainey in 2015. Since then, "Chidi Bang Bang" has notched impressive wins over Melvin Guillard and Andre Fialho. The Las Vegas fighter later announced himself to the 185-pound weight class in emphatic fashion with a victory over Hisaki Kato at Bellator 189. With 10 knockouts to his credit, the always-dangerous Njokuani looks to add another "W" to his record in November.

Salter, in turn, will make a quick turnaround following a submission loss to Rafael Lovato Jr. at Bellator 205 in September. The loss, in what was widely considered a middleweight title eliminator, marked the end of a seven-fight winning streak for the 33-year-old UFC vet, who had yet to lose in the Bellator cage.

That's true. Some of the prelim fights are better than some of the main card fights.

Njokuani fight is coming up soon. This is the card that has a better prelims card than main card.

With juan archuleta i would like to see him against either pat Curran, Daniel straus, Emmanuel shanchez if he can beat one of those guys hell i wouldn't say no to him fighting Pitbull.

I agree, he needs a big win against a top ranked fighter to earn a title shot.

It's really dumb of them to do this, the names they are burying on the pre-lims will draw more interest and should have been on the main card.
