Russian fighter Mikhail Ragozin (13-3) will fight former UFC fighter Karlos Vemola (26-5). The fight will be the main event of the RCC Intro 4 tournament, which will be held on May 4 in Ekaterinburg.

27-year-old Mikhail Ragozin held his last bout on December 15th against Brazilian fighter Kleber Raimundo Silva. This fight became part of a huge MMA tournament RCC 5. The fight lasted all three rounds and a decisive unanimous decision victory went to the Russian fighter. Ragozin’s professional MMA career includes 16 fights, in 13 of them, he became a winner. This Russian talent most recently prefers to perform in RCC and M-1 promotions.

Vemola put together a spectacular run early in his career to punch his ticket to the Octagon. He was perfect through seven fights, including a huge victory over Stav Economou, prior to joining the UFC roster. Once in the UFC, he lose to Jon Madsen, Ronny Markes, Francis Carmont and Caio Magalhães — hardly the best of the best — while he was only able to get the better of Seth Petruzelli and Mike Massenzio. The 33-year-old London Shootfighters disciple was explosive, but he was short on cardio and far too sloppy in the cage. Yet, following his UFC tenure, Vemola returned to his winning ways with a decision nod over Denniston Sutherland. He cruised to a double-digit win total that included nods over Piotr Strus and Moise Rimbon. His only post-UFC loss came to future UFCer Jack Hermansson via first-round armbar.
