Khabib Nurmagomedov (sambo champ) to fight Tibau at UFC 148

Khabib is well-rounded and put on a great performance against Shalorus (admittedly not the best comp but still a tough guy to finish). His standup's still a little green but he's got raw power to compensate. Should be interesting to see how he deals with Tibau's size + see how he does against a mid-tier UFC lw.

That will be a nice fight. Can't wait to see how it turns out.

This is my normal spiel for new members...


I want to give you a bit of an idea about the place. We follow worldwide MMA, all orgs & all fighters. We are not UFC-centered here and you should never be trolled for posting about non-UFC things.

We do follow the UFC fighter and their fights here. We are however big fans of the way Dana, the Fertitta's are trying to control MMA worldwide and force the cage & unified rules. We have also spent a lot of time compiling credible well-documented information about the Fertiatta family itself that through some real suspicion as to what may be going on behind the scenes at Zuffa.

On another note - we hope our members will put their country and/or ethnicity (e.g. Iranian-Swiss) in their profile so it shows up under their avatar. We want to show other members the diverse places we are from. We also want to better understand each member's regional MMA perspective more easily. As well, we can also ask each other for insight to their regional promotions, fighters or even get translation from Portuguese or Russian or Croatian Chinese, or whatever.....

Tibau is on a streak though and a tough test for any newcomer. Sambo vs. BJJ in that fight potentially.
