Remember when I spoke out about Scott Coker being bad for Bellator and good for the UFC while many were praising the guy as the second coming of christ like he could do no wrong.

well.......

word is everyone at Bellator washed their hands of Alvarez. Many feel he is more trouble than he is worth think of the Strikeforce Jake Shields situation back in 2010.

It hurts the integrity of their championship

This really sucks if true but Eddie hasn't had ANY signs of wanting to stay in Bellator for quite a while.

This really isn't a surprise.....

Coker said he'd reach out to Alvarez to see how to make the situation beneficial for both but it may not have been enough.

Even with bjorn only reason he was still here is he was legally obligated to do so.

It's what he's always been after so I wish him good luck but I don't see him being a champion in ufc lw is uber stacked.

Now bellator doesn't have to listen to Eddie piss and moan in the media and Eddie can go to ufc(what he always wanted)

Exactly Bellator can build without Eddie pissing and moaning in the media. Wait until Bellator surpasses the UFC then we will see who wants to be where!

It sucks Bellator loses a great fighter like that but Eddie doesn't even read his own contracts himself so   

He may going there but announcing Alvarez on a fight card before his contract is officially done with Bellator and signed with UFC is ridiculous.

Didn't UFC have ONE FC champ Bibi scheduled to a fight card prior to his contract signing?

I can´t stand Alvarez, he´s the type of guy who deserves to get knocked out. I only want him to stay in Bellator so he can lose and then Zuffa can pick up what´s left of him.

Never been a fan of Alvarez, but it isn't good for Bellator to lose one of their top lightweights. I foresee him getting knocked out pretty easily in the UFC though to be honest. It might not even be good for Alvarez in the long run to leave Bellator. lol

yup! Bellator did what they could to match the offer. I hated the shitstorm it caused and everyone turned on my BFF Bjorn and Bellator.

It's such bullshit eddie won that second fight because imo Chandler beat him. Chandlers way more of a legit prospect than Eddie. I don't think Eddie will do so well in the UFC
