Great night of fights good action in each and a fight of the year candidate in tokoro vs davis.

Momentum slowly built in first fight with coutures nice sub win,then carmont fight was slow then built into a great war,then tokoro vs davis blew the roof off,then a great main where we see the title change hands and the rivalry grow between warren and galvao.

This was a great show.

Couture/Cochrane was a solid opener and Couture continues to look good. Definitely a good addition to the stacked lightweight division

Carmont/Viana started slow but it did get better. I give Viana credit. I was thinking he may be overmatched but he gave it his all and even blocked some takedowns. I hope to see him in Bellator again. He looks to have potential but this looked like a case where he was given a tough first fight.

Davis/Tokoro was a fight of the year candidate. It's truly amazing how fate works. When Bellator lost Dantas/Richman, people thought this would be a weak replacement. How wrong they were. I think this was supposed to be a prelim fight. Good thing it ended up having a bigger audience. Gotta love Tokoro and the Japanese fighting spirit of going out and putting on a good show. It was a close fight but I can see why they gave it to Davis since he had the better striking in R1 and that's what's more important in the Unified Rules over knockdowns and submission attempts.

Warren/Galvao was a good main event and nice kneebar finish. I didn't expect it but I'm happy Galvao won. I like him as a fighter and he seems like a nice guy who deserved this moment. I hope he holds on to the belt for a bit. I do feel bad fans booed during his interview though to be fair, I think they thought it was a premature finish and Warren didn't help. Speaking of Warren, I understand being upset but don't act like you were robbed.

I wasn't surprised it went to split...first round was debatable but i would lean toward davis then it was a round a piece excellent fight.

Yeah, that was a real good event. Tokoro fight was great and then the kneebar sub for Galvao to take the title.
