This will be an epic event, M-1 is getting better and better. I´m afraid Rashid has better wrestling than Enomoto and wins via decision but I hope for an Enomoto tko win. Aleks is back this time and he will finally enter his prime Oleinik is really good sometimes but can also put on bad performances, either guy can win. Oleinik did beat Bellator top prospect Big Monster.
Yakovlev will tko Zavurov and get the next titleshot.

Looks like the winner will become the #1 contender for the M-1 strap. Aleks as M-1 champion will be fantastic and he deserves some respect.

I belive in Yakovlev and he´s improving for every fight. His top game is deadly but Zavurov is also a well-rounded fighter so it won´t be easy.goodnightirene wrote:u really think zavurov will lose?

Enomoto is always improving. Hope he can pull this one off. I want him to stay as the champ, and he has what it takes to it. It would be better for him to finish this fight just in case. That will probably be the most exciting fight in the card.
Aleks should watch out in this fight. He didn't give a shit about being punched in his last fights apparently, took some shots he could have avoided and even got KO'd. Tadas' a big boy, so i hope he comes strong and sharp as he used to be. If that happens he'll take it for sure.
In the other fights i'd give the edge to Zavurov and Monson (Oleinik last time submitted was in 2004, Monson being a grappler will make this very interesting to me), but both fights are not very clear to be certain IMO. I still have my doubts to give a clear answer.
Man, all i know is i'm hyped for this event. Card's looking pretty good.

Good to see they kept the name M-1 but just added Mixed Martial Arts 1 under it.

Does anyone know what´s wrong with the M-1 Global site? Sometimes it works and sometimes it redirects to different ad sites.

This is from wikipedia and it says the HW division has no upper weight limit. I guess it doesn´t matter that Tadas is a super heavyweight, the fight will count as HW.

What about Deuce's interim belt? Will he fight Aleks/Tadas or wait for his shot?
Solid card, though. I have
Yasubey
Aleks
Monson

If Guram and Deuce heal up at the same time they will fight to unify the title. Then the winner between Aleks and Tadas should be the #1 contender followed by the winner between Monson vs Oleinik. Malikov (who beat Aleks) and Alexander Volkov should also be in the mix. If they add a couple of more legit fighters the HW division will be great.Sweet Pea Is My Mom wrote:What about Deuce's interim belt? Will he fight Aleks/Tadas or wait for his shot?

This is the rumor that has been going on:
M-1 Global.com is no more. It appears the promotion did not pay their webmaster/IT person and it's rumored the domain will be 'up for grabs' in the next few days.

I tweeted Kogan about it but he hasn´t answered yet. The rumour sounds likely but I wonder why it switches back and forth between the site and other stuff. I will try to buy the domain but I´m sure M-1 got some people on it. You can book the name for an extra cost and I really hope they did this. Even if they will change domain name to mma-1 or something they need to keep the old domain so people who use it are redirected to the new domain.ZuffaKiller wrote:Johan Lofgren wrote:I saw that. Nice pimp HL of Yakovlev. He has a chance in this fight, but it won't be easy.

I'd rather see Fedor fight Aleks but I guess that could also happen if Aleks loses to Sergei. M-1 HW division is looking pretty good right now with Fedor, Aleks, Monson, Guram, etc. They should try to get some more name HWs and keep building their brand with Fedor's help.

Fedor will never fight for the M-1 title but since Aleks is a contender it would be perfect if he and Sergei could fight for the strap later on. They are building their stars from scratch and they will soon have a HW division filled with rising stars so they don´t need to sign many big names. One fighter I would really like to see in M-1 is Grabowski.Kinosis wrote:Johan Lofgren wrote:Vadim recently said: "I will make everything that I can to make Aleks and Sergei Kharitonov fight"
