Rumour of the day:Fedor vs Wanderlei in july

Rizin boss Sakakibara to meet with Wanderlei Silva this month to discuss a potential Fedor Emelianenko bout in the Summer.

I say why not. One of the most entertaining matchups.

I'd rather them fight some other people to build each one up but if it has to be, than so be it. I wish they both would sign with Bellator as well to fight some of their fighters if Rizin can't get anyone.

They're not young fighters. No need to build the match up. They are both already legends.

I hope they don't sign with Bellator.

Both Fedor and Wanderlei are ring fighters so they must fight in Rizin.

RIZIN is best for both Fedor and Wand.  Especially Wand who used all the rules available in JMMA effectively.  

Would be a big ratings fight if Fedor vs. Wand was made.

Wandy would get fucked up man how long has it been since his last fight now? I hope this fight makes him ALOT of money though..

I agree that Wand would probably have a real tough time in this one.

I'd like to see Fedor vs Blagoi, Roger Gracie, Kongo or Lashley.  Wanderlei could fight Tito, Melvin Manhoef, Leben, Arona, or any of the guys from the Rizin GP. Stephan Bonnar or Kimbo would be fun for Wanderlei as well.

wow this is interesting if true i think fedor will win but i won't count wand out the guy is a warrior but you know it is fedor . 

To be honest this really is one of those fights they should done during the pride era when both were on top just imagine how many tickets that would of sold .

Next fight in July? That is a lot of time without fighting.
He should first do fight in Bellator against Lashley than Wand!

Same here. Wand vs. Shlemenko is a fight I'd like to see.

I totally dig this match up no doubt.

I love this fight but at the same time I wouldn't mind seeing Wanderlei get a fight under his belt in Rizin before facing Fedor,maybe have him fight Vadim Nemkov in april and then he would be ready to face Fedor in july.
