Rafael Carvalho (12-1) defends title vs. Melvin Manhoef (30-12-1, 2NC) in the main event of ‪#‎Bellator155‬ on 5/20.Pat Curran (21-7) vs. Georgi Karakhanyan (24-5-1) set as co-main event .

That is going to be an exciting main event. Would be crazy to see Manhoef take the belt.

The only thing that sucks about the main event is someone has to lose. I'm a fan of both so I would love to see either one as champion. Man, Curran hasn't been seen in awhile. Wonder why it took so long for him to get a fight.

I agree, I don't want to see either of them lose. It should be a very entertaining fight between those two.

A heavyweight bout between Dan "The Man" Charles (10-3) and Augusto Sakai (9-0) has been added to the main card of "Bellator 155: Carvalho vs. Manhoef"

After an injury bumped Sakai from the co-main event of "Bellator 150: Kongo vs. Spartan," the 24-year-old Brazilian heavyweight is ready to return to action and has his sights set on remaining unbeaten in his 2016 debut. Sakai is coming off of another flawless year under the Bellator MMA banner, recording victories in each of his two appearances, including a unanimous decision win over Alex Huddleston in his most recent bout at "Bellator 145: With A Vengeance."

Dan "The Man" Charles, enters his sixth fight with Bellator MMA and looks to add to his impressive 10-3 professional record. The 30-year-old Phoenix native, capped off 2015 with an emphatic knockout of Chase Gormley at "Bellator 143: Warren vs. Davis," in September.

I always love Melvin fighting, even if he is a little glass jawed lately the guy still doesnt give any fucks. Anderson Silva gets KOd once and is a passive pussy, Manhoef gets KO'd 10 times and still wants to go in there and 100 punch combo the other guy. Always goes out on his sheild with no regrets or he ends up taking someones head off.

Manhoef is one of my all time favorites! Hope he takes this belt home, he deserves it

^ it would nice if manhoef won the belt he does deserve it after all these years and even if he doesn't it will still be  one heck of a fight .

This is back to the Bellator of old. Got to say im looking forward to this.

Marloes Coenen (23-6) faces Julia "The Jewel" Budd (8-2) for the inaugural women's featherweight title at ‎Bellator155‬ on 5/20.


This will be the featured prelim.

Featured prelim is perfect since there will be finishs we will see it as a time filler most likely anyway.

Here's hoping Held can even the score with Jansen.

I get that you guys like Bellator and all even though it's a us-based mixed martial arts and they are expanding in collaborating with other organizations fighter get control of there destiny than ufc contacts. As far as that the rules are the same as UFC Rules and if so would it be better if they have global rule set like one champion. I would be completly sold how about you guys. If they did it in Honolulu Hawaii thats where the last time they sanction full pride rules in the states probably the only state that allows it.

Bellator will NEVER do pride rules it really doesn't make sense for them to do it.

Its next to impossible to get it passed to use in the us and doesn't make sense imo.

All there shows have used unified rules its confusing to fighters and regular fans when rules change.

I do like the idea of having the global rules used in the instance that 2 fighters from orgs that use different rules compete,that way each guy must adjust a bit so its more fair instead of one guy having to completely adjust.

Aside from that i don't mind north american companys using unified and other orgs doing their own thing.

The more variety of mma the better.

You be all in if Bellator uses One rules.

Why is it some majority of Euro countries due a fusion of pride/one rules and Asia due pride rules and you got Us base that used an entire different set of rule and cage. MMA is a different breed of fight sport than ever.

You got russian and Japanese orgs using unified rules too not just americans.

Rules are all over the place in mma....kinda crazy lol

I was thinking when you wrote on here that it doesn't makes sense for bellator to do global or pride rules.
Well look what happen to pride when they did the events in Las vegas and drastically change the whole format altogether. It didn't make sense for pride to change there rules to unified and you know that was BS.

That just one example if bellator went to japan and did pride rules would that make you think differently just what I stated above. How about this if rizin went to the states and change the ring to circle cage and did unified rules what would you think.

Difference there is pride came to usa after it was faultering a bit,they tried to adapt to US market for popularity it didn't work so well.


Bellator is not in the same position its doing well and looking to expand its version of mma globally.

More likely they use pride rules in japan where you can do whatever but i still dont feel its likely.
