His team was informed last night that the UFC couldn't match the offer by Bellator and the ufc removed him from rankings.


Huge signing and a great fighter for the ww division.I heard bellator is making offers to cowboy cerrone as well.

Big signing for Bellator. Fights with Koreshkov, Lima, Page, Daley, and Henderson are all very interesting.

Great signing. The zuffa zombies have already started discrediting Rory. I saw one guy said it was a freakshow signing, another said he was never any good, etc. Basically Rory is getting the Fedor treatment now that he has left their false idol.

Bjorn wpuld love to sign these guys..,.,,but they wouldn't sign with Bellator in bjorns version.

I have to say, Coker has made some of the biggest signings for Bellator.  I like Bjorn and I think he did a really good job but I think Coker is doing better.  Big signings, Bellator kickboxing, Dynamite shows with ring and cage, working with other orgs., and ultimately a partnership with PRIDE 2.0!  This is the best vision of the sport in my opinion.

I wonder who he will fight first though ?

Bjorn would have made big signings like this if he had access to Viacom money.

He was backed by viacom for a period and failed to get the success they wanted and insisted on a ppv model.Under bjorn they had no real vision......heads of other companys didnt wsnt to work woth bjorn.

Coker was contacted by sakakibara before he even took over Bellator because of his vision and ability in the sport.

Bjorn did ok building a foundation but his nect step plans weren't good enough and im glad because coker attracted the best talent we've seen in Bellator.


The budget didn't change as soon as coker took over lmao the only reason they have a bigger budget now(if they even do)is cuz coker has brought in record numbers in every indicator since taking over.......if you show production and value.....the company will put out to help grow.

Coker also has helped with spreading broadcast deals even further across the globe.


WAR COKER.....under him Bellator is the LEGIT#2in the world.....not default anymore.

Cokers reputation with fighters definitely helps he established alot of relationships during strikeforce.

The fact is coker did amazing shit with the same fucking budget bjorn had......if its been increased its due to hos outstanding performance and uptick in every measurable caregory.

Bjorn would not have landed any of these major signings imo.

He should fight the winner of Page v Gonzalez in a title eliminator.

well of course not. when Bjorn had only been involved in MMA a few years compared to coker being involved since back in the early 80's.
