According to Thompson on his twitter page he is fighting Bobby Lashley in May. Guess this will show us where Lashley is at on some level. I know he has been training with Josh Barnett. This also means he won't be fighting Fedor as has been rumored multiple times in the past.

If the fight lasts longer than one round JT has a chance. Both guys have bad a bad gastank but Lashleys is worse. I´m actually looking forward to this fight and a James upset win would be awesome.

thank god. That means that Fedor isn't fighting Lashley. It's funny; people shit on Fedor, but the biggest headlines that hack websites get are from making up rumours about Fedor's next opponent.

Lashley is a horrific fighter, anyone who gets a close decision with John Otts (Or whatever his name was, 4-4 middleweight) is terrible. James Thompson is at least a passable fighter.

James Thompson will not be an easy fight for Lashley at all, Colossus has been competing too regularly for me to think Lashley can just steam roll him.i wouldn't be surprised if JT got the submission.

I'm not all that impressed with James myself.
