ROAD FC 035 on 10 December in Seoul, South Korea lands a title fight between current ROAD FC Middleweight Champion Cha Jung-Hwan and top challenger “Ryo” Choi Young.

Although ROAD FC Middleweight Champion Cha Jung-Hwan made his career fighting in the Welterweight division - with knockouts over such stellar opponents as Ryo Chonan and Igor Gracie - he made the decision to move to Middleweight to challenge ROAD FC Champion Riki Fukuda. In that challenge, Cha made history – he became the first to KO Fukuda in 10 years, and in doing so proudly claimed the ROAD FC belt.

Choi Young, known as “Ryo” for the majority of his MMA career, is one of Korea's first generation of Mixed Martial Artists. From his 2004 victory over “Stun Gun” Kim Dong-Hyun in Spirit MC, Choi made his way through K-1's HERO'S then became a staple of DEEP. In his ROAD FC debut, Choi met fellow Korean MMA legend Yoon Dong-Sik and finished him with a beautiful right counter. Wildly overjoyed at his victory, Choi said, “I want to look at winning the ROAD FC Championship belt!”

Kim Soo-Chul (14-5-1) vs. Scott Jorgensen (15-12) set for  ROADFC35 on 12/10.

Kim Soo-Chul (14-5-1, Team Force) was expected to be facing Kim Min-Woo for the vacant ROAD FC Bantamweight Championship, however a minor surgery to the latter postponed the match. Kim has faced back-to-back veterans of the sport in his last eight bouts, going undefeated since relinquishing the inaugural ONE Championship belt to Bibano Fernandes. Among those in Kim's win column are UFC vets Issei Tamura and Marcus Brimage, China's top product Jumabieke Tuerxun, Japan's legendary Taiyo Nakahara, and undefeated Jungle Fight Champ Maike Linhares. Kim will again face a mountain of an opponent in his next match.

Scott Jorgensen (15-12, Combat Fitness) is a former WEC title challenger and UFC fighter with a decade of professional MMA under his belt. Prior to MMA, he was a three-time champion collegiate wrestler. Jorgensen has racked up five Fight of the Nights in his career fighting the top in his division, including Antonio Banuelos, Brad Pickett, Dominick Cruz, Eddie Wineland and Urijah Faber. He is a perennial fan favorite who always delivers excitement.

Road FC 35 - December 10 (OFFICIAL DISCUSSION) ROAD35%2BMo%2Bvs%2BToyota
ROAD FC Openweight Champion Mighty Mo will make his first title defense against Carlos Toyota.

Siala “Mighty Mo” Siliga (10-5, Millennia MMA) went from being K-1 Tournament Champion over ten years ago to winning the first ROAD FC Openweight Tournament in 2016. His capture of the belt was an historic rubber match with fellow finalist Choi Hong-Man, in which the two faced off for a third time and Mighty Mo earned the decisive KO victory. Heavy hands and indomitable spirit have made him a huge fan favorite as the ROAD FC Openweight Champion.

Carlos Toyota (7-8-1, Hard Combat) is a long time veteran of Japanese MMA for DEEP and Gladiator before earning back to back ROAD FC victories over Choi Hong-Man and Shim Gun-Oh. Toyota is a Brazilian jiu jitsu black belt, however all but one of his victories has come by way of knockout. He has wins over notables Daijiro Matsui and Daiju Takase.

Also announced, ROAD FC Lightweight Champion Kwon A-Sol will face challenger Sasaki Shinji.

An article in Korean about the events ratings. Here is a post from "leto 1776" on SWW trying to interpret the article:

"I can't understand much, but it seems like the gist of it is they got a market share of 4.5 on Saturday. In a country of 50million, that's 2,250,000 people watching the event."
