On November 10 in Moscow M-1 Global will continue the celebration of 20 years’ anniversary at M-1 Challenge 85.
In the main event of the evening, Damir Ismagulov is set to fight against Rogério Karranca.
Originally Ismagulov (12-2) was going to defend his title against the winner of the contender bout. Tutarauli won the close fight against Kanunnikov, but unfortunately got injured. Another top contender Artiom Damkovsky is now recovering after a surgery, so the only chance to fight for the champ was a non-title bout against a tough opponent, Rogério Karranca of Brazil (13-2).
The brazilian fighter has an unbelievable record, finishing his opponents 13 times in 13 fights he won: 12 knockouts and 1 submission. Karranca has not lost in almost five years and since the then he has been finishing everybody on his way! Despite the fight is non-title, Rogerio is going to smash the champ to prove that he is a real danger for the division!
Damir Ismagulov won the belt this May and was going to defend it, but injures of his opponents did not let him do it. Damir is well-known as a real puncher, who knocked out most of his opponents and now he is on a winning streak of 7 fights. Ismagulov does not care who his next opponent is, he just grinds hard and in the Rage gives all he has for the victory!
In the co-main event Stephan “T-800” Puetz (15-3) was going to fight against Mikhail Zayats (23-8), but unfortunately Zayats got injured and the fight was canceled. So now Zayats’ teammate Giga Kukhalashvili (8-3) agreed to fight T-800.

Stephan Puetz unfortunately got injured just a few days before the event, so another fighter from Germany will take his place, Sebastian Heil (6-1) steep in on a short notice to face Giga Kukhalashvili (10-3).
