Bellator Signs Lyoto Machida to multi fight deal

Lyoto Machida has verbally agreed to an exclusive multifight contract with the promotion"The Dragon" is expected to sign the deal in the near future.

Machida, 40, leaves the UFC on a two-fight winning streak and with a 24-8 record. He most recently knocked out Vitor Belfort via front kick at UFC 224 last month in Rio de Janiero, which was the last fight on his UFC contract.

Didn't see this happening man smh as much as i try to like the ufc the ufc fans remined me why i don't . You can guess "he can't compete with the super beings of the ufc " "different levels" .

Neither did I. I didn't even know he was at the end of his deal. Even though Machida is at the end of his career, it's still a solid signing and I hope he does well. Welcome aboard Dragon.

I didn't either. Will be interesting to see who they match him up with. Shlemenko and Manhoef would be interesting fights to start.

They are interesting fights for him ,of topic it seems like if a fighter does not go to the ufc they are considerd  a traitor if they leave the ufc especially someone in the top 10 they are considerd a traitor.

You can bet your life saving that if when another organisation takes over the ufc say deep for example you can bet that they will jump ship "I'm a deep fan all of a sudden" ironically have people say "this isn't the USA this is real" "the competition is easier in the USA"  I'm sure people have read the whole " this isn't pride this is real anyone who says that is a fucking idiot..(I personally would love the federation thing takes of, people are fans of the fighters not what organisation they fight in) . One thing that annoys me is the fact that bellator has machida yet they have also signed a heavyweight prospect and a 10-1 European champion. I understand machida is the bigger name but why don't these so called mma journalists start flooding their pages of say hey check this guy or girl out instead one mention that is it and focus on bellator signing older fighters "see bellator is a retirement home" just like that moron who has the Connor McGregor photo as their picture saying rizin is fixed because ishi fell down from a phantom punch just to kicked in the head by the ultra dangerous this can kill some one soccer kick.

That would mean they have to post Bellator in a positive light. The shill MMA media cannot do that.

^^ that is true ^^ it is fucked up isn't it mma is the only sport where fighters are judged on what organisation they are in rather than who they fight and what titles they have . After all you don't see boxing fans say 'anyone who doesn't win the wbc title is a can crusher'.
