40-5...imo hansen beated bibi, so in my eyes he is 11-4.....the resume of torres imo is better than bibi's

miguel 40 wins, bibi 12....of those 12, bibi has finished only 5 of his opponents with 7 dec wins, meanwhile miguel has gone to the judges only 8 times in 40 wins, finishing his opponents 32 times...

But hey lets forget the fact that most of those wins were against nobodies.
Anyways one thing is fact at least Bibi one his last fight unlike Miguel who lost by KO in the first.

It´s better to not get personal, we´re all on the same side here. Both Bibi and Torres are legit fighters. Let´s see how they do in their upcoming fights.

Thats the whole point of the rankings here non zuffa recognized fighters who don't get the respect that they should. Actually the warren win is a top win because after that fight he went on to become bellator champ after loosing to bibi. Yes I know Warren loss the belt and is 0-2 as of late.
I don't hate Miguel But I don't think he should be ranked yet. I never said you made anything up but you can't deny how you originally said Miguel had the better resume then Bibi

Until miguel gets some wins outside of zuffa he should not be ranked(especially not 1#)here.

Yes I agree a fight with either Bibi, Tyson nam or Wilson rie would be great no one is denying that.

Before getting KOed by Bowles in 2009 Torres was #1, no doubt. The last 3 years he lost to Bowles, Benavidez, Demetrious Johnson and got KOed by McDonald in his last fight. Torres needs some great wins to get to the top while Bibi needs to lose.

I was thinking top 7 or so for Torres since he lost 4 of his last 7 fights. He does have a win over Banuelos so I'm thinking he gets the nod over him and he has a great overall record of 40-5.

Ronys has been on my radar for awhile. A good win over a solid fighter like Cobb at WSOF event will definitely get him into the rankings. If Cobb wins then he is prob. in.

I will definitely be watching WSOF. I agree, they are doing great at signing solid fighters. I'm impressed with what I have seen before they even launched their first event.

I agree, I'm hoping they put on a great show as well. It's on a solid station so I'm hoping the production will be sweet.

The rankings are based on fighters beating other fighters ranked above them mainly. That is primarily what gets guys moved up and down the list. Recent performance is also a key criteria, as is overall performance. Also, I agree that impressive wins have a impact for sure but the number 1 guy has to get beat to lose his spot unless a top level guy from Zuffa comes over and I don't think Torres is that guy since he lost 4 out of his last 7. 40-5 is impressive as hell for sure but his recent record is pretty poor.

Impressive or not he got the Win and as far as being boring I have seen fights way more boring then Bibis last fight. torres 40 plus record has alot of cans and no bodys then he went to the wec where he fought some good opponents. So he does not have a better record then bibi. One thing is for sure they both fought Antonio Banuelos and migul could not finish him but bibi TKOed him in the first.

Dantas' title and the way he went through the Bellator tournament earns him the nod over Torres who is 3-4 in his last 7 fights over the past 3 years. Nam beat Dantas so that places Nam above him as well. I think number 7 over Banuelos (who he holds a win over) is a good spot for Torres.

Torres vs. Reis will be sweet. I would have liked to see Nam vs. Torres but I'm still hoping he goes to Bellator to rematch Dantas for the belt.

Good points and debate on Torres and Bibi in these posts. No need to get pissed off over anything. We are all not going to agree on everything. Worst case we could do a poll if no one agrees but I think 7 is a good spot for Torres and makes sense.

I love the rankings. Basically the only legit rankings out there. I'm sure that you could attempt to include Zuffa fighters, but it's hard to get an accurate sense of where they stand due to the Zuffa blockade on worldwide MMA outfits, so this is definitely the right approach.

Naoyuki Kotani has to be close to a top 10 LW surely?

I was thinking the same thing but the fighter right above him holds a pretty recent 23 second KO over him. Hopefully they will have him fight Garner soon for the belt which could move him in the top 4 if he wins.

Thanks. I appreciate it. Yeah, with UFC absolutely refusing to work with anyone ever, it is better to keep the rankings separate in my opinion to give these guys the recognition they deserve. When SF fighters fight for both SF and other orgs. I do include them in the rankings (like Khalidov).
