Holy Hell!!! I fell out of following K-1. Mostly because I'd not heard anything, and hadn't the time to make it over this way. I'll come back to vote, I having catching up to do. Remy is my all time fav, I can't believe he's back. I had shot an email to his fan club and they claimed he was retired. Great to know he isn't. Awesome to know there's a ton of kickboxing to catch up on.

Edit- K-1 stuck in the mind. Sorry Glory, guess I'll be calling kickboxing events K-1 for some time. Like coke and cheato that one is.......I guess I'm a bit like the ZZ's what who call MMA UFC.

Voted for Remy. Not cause he'll actually win, more so cause of wishful thinking.

In reality it will be either Shillt or Ghita, depending on the match ups.

Ghita's been looking great, but I still believe in Remy.

Many people call kickboxing K-1 since it was so dominant for many years but now it´s all about Glory

I voted Ghita but I´m rooting for Kharitonov and Aerts. Amazing card, kickboxing is back on top!

Man I been rewatching Semmy quite a bit. That guy could have boxed too. Just excellent hand work eh? Wonder if he's ever trained with K2. Wlad could make Semmy a beast.

Teixeira is very good, he beat Zimmerman. I would like to see him on the card.

I don't know why Texieira just disappeared. He was turning into a really fun fighter in his last few fights.

KOICHI is 186 cm tall and his Kickboxing record is 26-7-1 (15 KO). Since 2009 he has gone 14-2 and in his last fight, at GLORY 2 in Brussels, he defeated Mark Miller by KO in the 2nd round. He has fought under the ringname “Koichi Pettas”, with the Pettas part having been received by his teacher, Kyokushin Karateka and K-1 veteran “The Blue-Eyed Samurai” Nicholas Pettas…

It is Koichi’s 4th. fight and until now he has had 3 wins with 2 K.O.’s, he is like my little brother and that’s why when he had his first fight and we all sat around and talked about his ring name he asked me if he could do like the thai fighters do. They take the last name of their teacher into the ring out of respect and to honor the teacher for bringing the fighter up. Eyes Set On Japan For Final Fight! Peter Aerts Speaks

The legendary Peter Aerts speaks a few words 6 days prior to his participation in the big GLORY 4 New Years Eve 16-Man One-Night Heavyweight Grand Slam tournament.

Ghita or Semmy. Saki gets beat by both. Remy wasn't too impressive against Braddock. I'm hyped for this though. First round fights should be decent, semi's should be amazing.

Not saying Remy will win but Braddock is a very tough opponent. Not elite but a lot of top tier guys can struggle with him and it was only Remy's second fight back. I wouldn't be surprised if he somehow managed to beat Ghita.

Things took a sudden turn. A friend of mine, who's Russian, messaged me to ask what I'm doing for New Years. I told him I don't really have any plans, but was thinking of going to this MMA and kickboxing show at Saitama Super Arena. If he was interested, lets go together. (Mostly all in Japanese, hence the awkward English here.) He said lets do it, and I am now the proud possesor of two tickets to the show.

It was a pain in the ass to get them, internet sales are over, and even though I read Japanese, it can be hard to navigate these things. I eventually found my way to the Lawson's website, and found out that seemingly I could get tickets by going to the store (although the internet sales were closed). I went to my local Lawson's, the machine was too difficult to use, so I asked one of the guys behind the desk for help. In the end, I walked out with 2 tickets. The whole ordeal took about an hour and a half.

But, I am indeed going to Dream 18.

Also, I lost my wallet recently during a drunken escapade, so I have no credit cards. If I had one, I might have been able to manage to buy tickets online, but that was another problem.

I just realized this is a different thread than the MMA side thread, where the rest of my comments are.
