ONE FC's world bantamweight grand prix will hold its semifinals in April at "ONE FC 8: Kings and Champions," officials today announced.

The matchups include Jens Pulver (27-17-1) vs. Masakatsu Ueda (16-2-2) and Kevin Belingon (10-2) vs. Thanh Vu (3-1).

"ONE FC 8: Kings and Champions" takes place April 5 at Singapore Indoor Stadium in Singapore. Star Sports broadcasts the event in Asia, and its available elsewhere via online pay-per-view ($9.99).

Officials didn't announce a date for the grand prix's final. The winner, though, gets a shot at the bantamweight belt, which Soo Chul Kim recently won.

Pulver, an early-UFC lightweight champion, initially announced his retirement in 2010 after a disastrous (1-5) stint in the WEC. But he eventually returned to the cage, where he's 5-3 in in his past eight fights. He recently earned a technical decision victory over Zhao Ya Fei in the grand prix's opening round.

He takes on Ueda, a former Shooto featherweight champion who's 6-1 in his past seven fights. The Japanese fighter scored a decision victory over Min Jung Song in his opening-round matchup.

Belingon, meanwhile, is the current URCC flyweight champion, and the Filipino scored a TKO victory over Yusup Saadulaev in the grand prix's opening round to end a two-fight skid. He takes on Vu, a Vietnamese-Australian grappler who stopped Mohd Fouzein with knees and punches to advance to the semifinals.

I like this final 4. Bibi should fight Kim for the belt and the winner of that fight should defend the title against the winner of this GP.

Obvious Ueda x Belingon final.

Great card so far. I'm hoping for something interesting to mix up this tourney like a Pulver upset victory or similar.
