Pancrase X Shooto Again! Champions Clash

The March 17th “Pancrase 246″ has shaped up to be an excellent card.

Another fight was announced for it today. Welterweight King of Pancrase and Kazushi Sakuraba student Takenori Sato will take on the Shooto Pacific-Rim Middleweight champion Akihiro Murayama in a non-title fight.

Sato is 6-0-1 in his last 7 and four of those fights are successful title defenses. Murayama is 4-0-2 in his last 6 and one of those was a submission victory (of all things) over the great UFC, DREAM, and Sengoku participant K-Taro Nakamura

Awesome grappler Hiroki “AB” Aoki will look to climb the ranks with a third win in a row when he takes on Kota Okazawa
K-1 MAX veteran HINATA will fight in a REBELS Kickboxing fight as a first fight after the announced business partnership between Pancrase and Kick promotion REBELS
