They already have seven main fights, so it might be added soon. If not, I guess the UFC flexed their muscle and nixed the fight.

Three trains of thought:
1. Is Tony Johnson Jr. actually signed with zoofa?
2. Bibiano/Okazaki vs. Ueda/Belingon is more than likely the next step after these fights.
3. Nice to see Urushitani land on his feet and sign with ONE.

'ONE FC 9: Rise to Power' main card adds Docyogen-Urushitani, Eustaquio-Leone
Fri Apr 26, 2013 4:59 pm
The main card is set for next month's "ONE FC 9: Rise to Power" event with the recent addition of two flyweight bouts.
The include Yasuhiro Urushitani (19-6-6) vs. Rey Docyogen (10-1) and Geje Eustaquio (4-1) vs. Andrew Leone (5-2).
ONE FC 9, which also features two previously announced title fights, takes place May 31 at Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Philippines. It streams via online pay-per-view.
Urushitani is a recent UFC fighter who competed in the organization's championship flyweight tournament. However, after entering the organization with a five-fight win streak, the Japanese fighter suffered a TKO loss to Joseph Benavidez in the opening round of the tourney and then a decision defeat to John Lineker in November. That prompted his UFC release.
He fights for the time since then when he meets Docyogen, a top Filipino prospect who won his first 10 pro bouts. However, in February, the URCC pinweight champion made his ONE FC debut and suffered a submission defeat to well-respected Shinichi Kojima.
Eustaquio, meanwhile, is a Filipino who looks for his third straight win following a ONE FC 2 victory over Alex Silva. The well-rounded fighter meets Leone, an American wrestler and grappler, makes his promotional debut. He had been on a five-fight win streak before a Road FC 8 submission loss to Kyung Ho Kang.
The latest ONE FC 9 card now includes:
Honorio Banario vs. Koji Oishi - for featherweight title
Bibiano Fernandes vs. Koetsu Okazaki - for interim bantamweight title
Kevin Belingon vs. Masakatsu Ueda - bantamweight grand-prix final
Rey Docyogen vs. Yasuhiro Urushitani
Phil Baroni vs. Nobutatsu Suzuki
Eduard Folayang vs. Kamal Shalorus
Geje Eustaquio vs. Andrew Leone

Seems like Tony is still signed to Bellator. He should honour that contract before signing with ONE or Zuffa.Sonatine wrote:Three trains of thought:

That sounds like decent shape for current day Sylvia.
Diaz missing weight by ten pounds is much more disgusting.

Seriously Timmeh has slimmed down if he's that close to the HW limit.
And hopefully Saadulaev can still do a Tokoro-murder-slam to the fatty he's fighting.
This should be a really fun card.

Yeah, I'm surprised. Sylvia had to be getting on 300lbs his last few fights. Good for him. I hope it helps his mobility & his cardio is too.
