Yeah he really needs to be focused and look out for that overhand. M-1 is getting some more well known fighters and they have grown in a healthy way building from the ground.

Yup, should be a sweet fight. He's on a five fight win streak. He is 2-0 in M-1 (both finishes). I saw his fight on the Monson/Fedor card and he looked solid. I must have seen his other M-1 fight but I can't remember it.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind seeing Yakovlev take this either and get a shot at Enomoto/Magomedov winner.

Agreed, this card is turning out great. It sucks Showtime is not airing these fights from Russia. I wish they would.

maybe we should email showtime and M-1 and request that they start showing the Russian events on showtime.

As I said before, the only thing that lost Shamil the fight against Enomoto was his cardio at the end. IMO - he was winning the fight substantially taking Enomoto down at will and controlling form the top. His stand up didn't look as sharp as usual but he had the fight won till he gassed. If he can get his cardio back on track he will dominate again.
