The UFC digital pass will backfire big time within a year after the UFC starts losing money on shows.

I think zuffa is expecting this thing to sell great but from what I'm seeing, a lot of fans are laughing at the thought of buying this.

The first fight on the package is that weak Singapore card this weekend and it looks like it's not even available in Asia. Talk about starting off with a massive fail.

Dana is expecting this to be a hit but nobody gives a damn besides "hardcore ufc fans". PPV numbers are down in recent years so I don't know why he thinks nickel and diming fans on extremely weak cards will work.

I'm calling it right now. I think this is going to bomb. Dana will probably still try to spin it like it's a success though.

Only a moron will waste their monthly cash on C/D-level fights and fights that you can easily find on YouTube. And the sad thing is that the fighters on this will suffer from limited exposure thanks to this restrictive wall.

This latest fleecing by zoofa is almost certainly destined to fail. Both Lorenzo and Dana make Dixie Carter look like Steve Jobs with their constant screw ups.

The only cool thing on this is the Pride library and the tail end of the SEG era cards finally being readily available.

There's no reason for the UFC's One FC knockoff card being unavailable on a Fox Sports 2.

with the exception of the Pride and wec library, the digital pass is a joke. But then again you can purchase pride dvd's from suppliers outside of zuffa

it really makes me sick how UFC own pretty much the whole library of the best fights over the history of the sport....Pride FC, affliction, Strikeforce..... fights that didnt even happen under the zuffa banner and were pretty much 20 times better now owned by zoofa

I'm not buying this and why would I? Most fight nights are D-Level shows. I don't get why the UFC has to charge for everything other than greed.

I can watch Bellator and WSOF for free and they stack their cards better than most UFC shows these days. Even if I would buy something, it would be something like ONE FC.

Speaking of Strikeforce, I recently noticed that whenever one of the Showtime channels replays an old Strikeforce show, it is labeled only as "UFC" on the guide. Not "Strikeforce: Fighter A vs. Fighter B" or whatever the event was called, but simply "UFC." Hilarious. And sad.
