Hooker to face unbeaten Ramos; Jan 17 ShoBox quadrupleheader now complete

On January 17, DiBella Entertainment will present the premiere show of the 2014 ShoBox: The New Generation season with a quadrupleheader filled with hot prospects. Opening the telecast will be hard-hitting Maurice Hooker (12-0-1, 9 KOs) going against Abel Ramos (8-0, 4 KOs) in an attractive eight-round clash between unbeaten junior welterweights.
Headlining the card will be lightweight Ivan “The Terrible” Redkach (15-0, 13 KOs), who takes on once-beaten Tony Luis (17-1, 7 KOs) in the 10-round main event. In the co-features, unbeaten junior middleweights John Thompson (14-0, 5 KOs) and Frank Galarza (11-0-2, 7 KOs) collide in an eight-round matchup and fast-rising and highly regarded prospect Antoine Douglas (11-0, 7 KOs) squares off against Marquis Davis (8-0-2, 5 KOs) in an eight-round middleweight showdown.
The card will take place at the Cook Convention Center in Memphis, Tennessee.
