interesting.
For the sake of seeing Pitbull vs. Curran again, I hope Curran wins. But this is an odd choice. Pitbull has been killing it lately and Curran vs. Straus wasn't really that close to warrant an immediate rematch.
Any news on Frodo's visa issues?

Patricio pitbull is not happy!
what a fucking joke! Curran vs strauss was neither exciting nor close...and the fans arent wanting a 3rd fight between the two
Bellator is fucking pitbull over here big time! i feel for him after going 4-0 after curran in 2013. his fight with curran was way closer.
curran should have been back into a fourman tournament meanwhile Frodo and pitbull get theirs

2. Find some tweet in twitter about Curran because I hear a rumor that Curran extended his contract which he refused to do tournament again.
3. Get rid of those douchbage and find good fighter.

I heard that also about Curran. I hate how this rematch is happening.
everyone should be treated the same....this is some ufc type bullshit
The way MMA gives title shots really makes me uninterested in the sport in general....im pretty much sick of this crap. titles mean shit nowadays

I agree everyone should be treated the same.I hate how champion try to hand picking opponent in mma.
if you are fighter title contender in mma and you got injure as result the promotion could give away your title contender to a another person so on that you had to you re earn title contender beiside that you all already earn it.

I think you're going too far comparing it to the UFC, this isn't like Frankie Edgar getting his 9th rematch.
Best to get this trilogy out of the way and then no more tournament pass ups for either guy.

I agree the fight with pitbull was way closer but Strauss and Curran have history and they need to settle the score for good.

would've rather seen Pitbull or Frodo get the shot. If Curran can avoid a tournament, that's bullshit.
Welterweight tournament is awful. Sick of War Machine already and Riggs.should be nowhere near a title shot. There's got to be better talent than this at WW. Thankfully its only a four man and we can hopefully get another.tournament in.the Summer Series.

LMAO well not THAT bad!
i said some ufc type/ match maker format
whats the point of creating contenders if your gonna hand pick them in a certain order....then give ex champions who got easily beat automatic rematches.

See WILLIE Bellator can't always host all 4 opening round tournament fights on the main card. It's not an insult to the fighters, it's just the time constraints.

War Machine is out of his planned Bellator tournament bout with Nah-Shon Burrell due to an injury. The two were expected to meet next Friday night at Bellator 112.
According to sources with FightLine, Paul Bradley will be inserted into the welterweight tourney fight. Bellator has yet to make an official announcement.
Bradley (21-5) was scheduled to meet Nathan McCoy on the card from Hammond, Indiana. The main card airs on Spike TV, with prelims streaming live online.
Late last year, the former University of Iowa standout scored a decision victory over Karl Amoussou. He fought twice for the UFC in 2011, losing to both Mike Pierce and Rafael Natal.
Bradley also fought in the Strikeforce Challengers series back in 2010, going 1-1 with a loss to Luke Rockhold.
War Machine posted on Twitter late Thursday night that the disc injury he suffered in an accident will keep him from competing.
“Really bummed/depressed but the back injury I sustained in my accident is forcing me to pull out of the Bellator tournament,” he wrote. “I have fought my last 3 fights with a torn ACL, a hernia and a torn rotator cuff but this disc injury is too much, can’t feel right foot.
“Herniated disc has caused me numbness in right glute/hammy/foot and I can’t even flex my calf. Nothing I can do but bow out. I’ll be back.”fight line.com

Bellator’s Season 10 welterweight tournament received a shakeup on Saturday, when Bellator MMA officials announced that War Machine, Joe Riggs and Mark Scanlon have all withdrawn from the competition.
Replacing them in the tournament field will be Paul Bradley, Nathan Coy and Cristiano Souza. Bradley and Coy were already slated to square off this Friday on the Bellator 112 undercard, but their matchup will now serve as a welterweight quarterfinal. Meanwhile, Souza steps in for Riggs to take on Sam Oropeza at The Venue at Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, Ind.
The evening’s main draw airs live on Spike TV and is headlined by a featherweight title rematch pitting Daniel Straus against Pat Curran.
The two remaining welterweight quarterfinals were also altered by Bellator officials on Saturday. Instead of facing Jesse Juarez, former title challenger Andrey Koreshkov will now meet UFC veteran Nah-Shon Burrell in the round of eight, while Juarez takes on Adam McDonough to kick off the televised card.
