olympics anybody????

Just wondering since there's such a diversity of people on here if any of you are watching or following the Olympics at all.

I personally don't really care for about 96% of the competitions LOL but I do watch it occasionally.

I really like watching the Olympic hockey always exciting and on that note SUCK IT RUSSIA GOT YOU ON YOUR HOME TURF SON!

Most the winter games are boring as shit but I can admit it takes high levels of skill to be on an Olympic level in any exercise or event.

Russia took lead on medal count but USA isn't too bad off(and the win over Russia in hockey is all that matters LOL)

War USA hell Canada too war north America!!!

Coming from a winter country I love Winter Olympics. Sweden has 9 medals already and our neighbor Norway has 15. USA has 18 medals so far. Remember Sweden has only 9 million citizens and Norway has 5 million.

Speed skating is one of my favourites. It was nice when the underdog won gold after his opponents fell in the semis and the finals

The only thing I watch for the winter Olympics is the figure skating. Me and my wife happen to both be dance performers so we enjoy watching these kind of things. Figure skating is also a big event for the Chinese in the Olympics too, so my wife is very interested in it for that reason too.

Figure skating really doesn't do anything for me I guess snowboarding and the more extreme style events I like but summer games are more my speed.

I want to watch Olympic boxing judo wrestling and maybe one day Olympic mma.

Soooo woman's hockey good job Canada and hey USA silver ain't bad either.

I believe USA just took lead in medals but that fluctuates but again WAR NORTH AMERICA!!!

Major choke job by the US women to lose a 2-0 lead in the final minutes of the game. Silver is no consolation. It was a colossal failure.

I'm just glad I don't give one shit about women's hockey. On to the final men's games! That's the real hockey right there.

Yeah well a BS slashing penalty causing the power play is what won the game but props to Canadas dedicated play

As for men's hockey ....

1)Russia losing to usa and Finland =epic
2)USA men will avenge the woman's loss(hopefully LOL)

yea the USA women's team was pretty bad, just bad decision making with and away from the puck especially on the play that lead to Canada's breakaway and powerplay. Oh well Mens hockey final games should be great.

Swedens nordic neighbour Finland destroyed USA by 5-0

The bars are opening across Canada Sunday morning at 5 am just for the game. Haha! There literally will be no one on the streets.... no cars... no nothing til after the game. We we win there will be thousands flocking to the streets to celebrate in -20C and even riot if things go well. This place lives eats and breathes hockey. Kids start skating while still in diapers.

In 2010 25M+ people out of 32M Canadians watched the gold medal game live when we beat the USA.
