Golden Boy finalizes April 3 heavyweight triple-header on FOX Sports 1

Veteran Monte Barrett will be back to face Cuban heavyweight Luis Ortiz in the main event of a triple-header on April 3.
Luis Ortiz will face veteran Monte Barrett in the main event of an all-heavyweight triple-header on April 3, live on FOX Sports 1 and promoted, of course, by Golden Boy.
Ortiz (20-0, 17 KO) is a 34-year-old Cuban southpaw, nicknamed "The Real King Kong." Standing 6'4", Ortiz has the size and style to be a potential contender in the division, but Barrett, 42, is a legitimate step up in competition, too. Barrett (35-10-2, 20 KO) hasn't fought since July 2012, when he was knocked out by Shane Cameron in the fourth round in New Zealand. That followed a pair fights -- a draw and a Barrett win -- against David Tua. Barrett is 1-4-2 in his last seven fights.
Also on the card, unbeaten prospect Gerald Washington (11-0, 8 KO) will face Houston's Skipp Scott (16-1, 10 KO), and 2012 U.S. Olympian Dominic Breazeale (9-0, 9 KO) will look to continue his stoppage and win streaks against Nagy Aguilera (19-7, 13 KO).
