Question: What happens in under Unified Rules if???... You hit your opponent with a 7 shot combination flurry...

1. left hook to the jaw
2. right kick to the liver
3. left kick square in the nuts
4-7. 4 hard shots to the side of his head and only after the 4 shots to the side of the head does the guy stop defending himself

I guess it depends on the referee just look at shogun vs hendo 2

Just got off the phone with Herb Dean. He said everything's legal in his books.

If it was a good ref he would catch nit shot and it would be stopped like an eye gouge.

I knew the answers kane. They were rhetorical questions.   

If a fight ending injury occurs before the foul nothing matters after.

Like I said if weidman followed up after Silva snapped his leg and Silva turtles up and got hit with 3 back of head shots would you consider it a dq win for Silva?

lol. By your argument then Dan should have been DQ'd for 5 strikes to the opponents head after the fight was over.

No it wouldn't if ref was incompetent enough to see the injury occur (insert herb Dean) then we see what happened with shogun.

It all boils down to ref incompetence had herb seen shoguns face flattened it woulda been called after the running punch.
