Turning your head doesn't do much as your opponent still has access to your trachea just about everywhere you can move your head. Like Fedor you can do it with a lighting quick explosion. It is extremely unpleasant having your trachea being crushed. Your body goes into panic life and death mode in a fraction of a second. This is a lot different than the blood choke which happens more slowly over time and is not beginning to crush the airway.

I can't believe that no western camps & coaches teach this. I guess is not in the UFC's MMA For Dummies handbook.
