Stiverne and Wilder are supposed to be fighting in the fall. I'm looking forward to that fight.

Weird rankings, although heavyweight is really weird to try to rank currently since a lot of those guys haven't even fought each other. Stiverne at number 2 is a joke though. I'd have Povetkin number 2.

Chagaev is fighting Fres Oquendo. Chagaev should win but I think it could be an entertaining bout.

If you can get it you should check out Chisora/Fury on July 26th from England. Should be a good action bout. (heavyweight)

I don't know if you can get a stream of the event but next weekend Canelo Alvarez is fighting Erislandy Lara. I'm really looking forward to that match. (155 pounds)

These are the ESPN rankings, so take them with a grain of salt. But I agree with what your saying.

Jennings has his chance to break into the top rankings when he fights next. Bryant Jennings vs. Mike Perez, 12 rounds, WBC heavyweight eliminator: on the undercard of Gennady Golovkin vs. Daniel Geale July 26th.

The division doesn't matter. It's Wlad and then everyone else. It's the worst division in boxing with one of the most talented fighters at the top. Think Anderson Silva UFC run, except the competition is all Leites or worse.

Wow, you're an idiot. Bermaine Stiverne, Deantay Wilder, Povetkin, Tyson Fury. The list goes on. Wlad is just the only fighter you know.  Boxing Heavyweight Rankings 3077217049 Looks like a teenager trying to act cool and grasp horribly at straws to compare it to YOOEFFSEEE

The heavyweight division always matters. Even if it's at a lowpoint it will always draw the interest of the casual fan.

In the past the divisions has been pretty weak. It's different now. The division has a lot of talent and legit challengers for the champion.

The division is in a much better state than it has been in the last few years. It still lacks real high end talent outside of Wlad, but it has some solid fighters. Of course, people will continue to overrate some of the lower weight divisions just because it's programmed into their brains to do so. Light middleweight isn't deep at all. Lightweight isn't either. Super featherweight and super bantamweight are also mostly trash in all honesty. The lowest three weight divisions are just irrelevant and boring.

It's in a better state when it comes to guys competing against each other I agree, but the talent is dropping off still.I think the lower divisions are tough to even compare because of all the weight changing that happens amongst the "stars."

The lowest 3 weight divisions have 3 of the best fighters in the world, bro 8)

Tony Thompson recently lost to Carlos Takam.

Takam is an interesting fighter. I'm looking forward to see his future fights.
