Main event is a nice match, I remember hearing about it a while back so it's nice to see the bout materialize.
I think I'll pick Enomoto actually. Shlemenko is on a bad losing streak, 2 in MMA and 1 loss in combat sambo as well. He needs to get his head straight and this isn't going to another easy match. Also always been a fan of Yasubey so it'd be nice to see him get a big name win again after some years.

I think Shlemenko can bounce back. Enomoto has good range but he matches well with Shlemenko. Of course he's got better submission ability but can he get the fight down?

I think this will be a standup fight throughout. Definitely an interesting fight. Got to go with Shlemenko in this one. Time for him to rebound from the losses.

I always find it hard to believe that Zavurov was ever in the same weight class as Enomoto, he looks way bigger than Shlemenko.
Although he didn't KO Enomoto, Alexander's strategy was simply perfect vs such a good submission guy off his back. If you noticed, I think Shlemenko may have been belly on belly on top on Yusebey only once (I think) though he took him down a whole bunch of times. Enomoto immediatley defaulted into positioning for a triangle and Alexander postured up immedately to where he fought from on the groung the whole fight. IMO this was perfect strategy.
Alexander was able to completly shut down Enomoto's very slick ground game by maintaing distance from top control. He landed lots of decent shots from there and was able to stand up to restart at will. Very nice indeed. Not once was Enomoto able to grab and tie up his arms from the guard and Alexander were was unable to throw full shots.
It was a bit of Alexander Shlemelianenko going on their upright in top guard position. He simply won points with every takedown, maintained top control, scored with strikes from a high posture on top & stood the fight up at will where he was better on the feet.
This strategy & style for anybody in the UFC's 'belly on belly' - 'tie up and stalemate' groud fighting game... would be perfect. Not may fighters or coaches there are smart enought to understand, or use it though.
A good solid dominating performance by Alexander Shlemelianenko. Enomoto gassed in the 3rd but was outclassed before that IMO.
Hopefully I can find some more videos from the evet ASAP.
