As previously announced, Top King World Series will be hosting their third and final event of 2014 from the Asia World Expo in Hong Kong on December 20th. The match-ups have now been unveiled for the quarter finals of their 70kg tournament.

Buakaw is a strong favorite to win the tournament and has coincidentally been given the easiest route to the final. Buakaw will take on Dmytro Konstantynov of Ukraine. Buakaw decimated Moxon in the opening round, ruining the Australian with knees to the body before eventually finishing him with an elbow. Konstantynov defeated Giorgio Petrosyan's younger brother Armen via unanimous decision.

The winner will go on to face the winner Khayal Dzhaniev and Andrei Kulebin who both won their previous contests via decision.

The match-up of the round is without a doubt Niclas Larsen vs. Marat Grigorian. Both are two of the best prospects at 70kg and made it to the quarter finals with very impressive performances. Larsen destroyed Vladimir Konsky with his patented right hand in the first round

whereas Grigorian defeated karate stylist Abraham Roqueni via unanimous decision. This should play out to be a terrific stylistic clash, as Larsen will likely aim to finish this within the distance with his heavy hands meanwhile Grigorian will look to

utilize his immaculate technique and pinpoint accuracy to out-land Larsen over the course of three rounds.

Providing no one is injured or unable to continue in the tournament the winner of Grigorian/Larsen will meet either Reece McAllister or Marcin Parcheta in the semi-finals. McAllister turned in a career-best performance in the opening round, blitzing hometown favorite Crice Boussoukou with a combination of punches and knees in the opening round. Parcheta also scored an impressive stoppage as he knocked out Azize Hlali in the third round.
