The PBC announcers on NBCSN

Are pretty much as bad as Rogan and Goldberg.

They are less inferior in a couple ways. They don't scream in your ear and they don't shill.

I wish they would fix the announcers, but these guys are probably under contract. I hope they buy them out.

Including Ray Leonard. He's a terrible commentator.

I agree about Ray Leonard. He's pretty bad.

The PBC commentators are awful. Leonard is probably the worst commentator I've ever heard.

It seems that NBC has some old guys picking announcers who remember Ray from the 1970s and 1980s and worship him. They may have even had some ridiculous focus group of more old guys tell them he is good (I used to work in the focus group 'business'). CBS and Showtime have had better boxing announcers, but the NBC ones have been largely a flop. And PBC needs someone who understands that and can tell NBC so.

The Spike guys are worse actually (no surprise there). They are simply ignorant of boxing. It's almost like when Big Sports Network has basketball commentators commentate wrestling, and they constantly say 'the game', 'the player', etc. It isn't that bad, but it's also not a college sports webcast, but a professional boxing national telecast.

I remember for instance a guy reading the compubox stats, and talking about power punches, and he didn't know what it means. "40 percent of everything he has thrown with power has landed. That is just unreal."

The NBC guys are annoying and uninteresting. The Spike guys are much worse.

I guess it's the Networks' fault.
