Bjorn put on a few cool tournaments then went for the ppv model way too early,and then the tournament quality dropped exponentially.

Also bellator sold out faster then strikeforce so i wouldnt be making any retarded comments lol.

If bellator was still with bjorn it would be dead.....he was trying to go ppv model that is barely working for the ufc.meanwhile they put on too many shows with lesser competition each time.

The Fedor situation with Bellator ia cool but other than that Coker has damaged the Bellator product.

As far as Spike showing Rizin. I could care less and won't watch it. It will be tape delayed and edited. I'll watch the Japanese broadcast live.

When Bjorn went ppv the show was a success even though the fight card had a main event fighter(Alvarez) drop out the week of the show.

I ordered the show. It was good.

As far as ratings success. I don't care if 50 million people watched Kimbo-Shamrock. The fight was garbage. It didn't create new fans..it wasn't a quality product. It went for the same fan base as the ufc. Low intelligence...i want to see some brawling fans.

Under Coker they also got rid of Sean Wheelock.

His replacement is HORRIBLE.


Yes Bjorn used a cage...but under his guidance Bellator was fun, fresh and different from the ufc.

Different how? It literally only was different cuz of tournaments that slowly ended up undercutting the quality of the overall product.

Coker has brough back real production value with entrances and just overall big event feeling,he in his first attempt at a bellator tournament brought back 1 night tourneys and put on the most stacked tourney in bellator history.

Its great its free on tv for casuals to witness the greatness and start being fans of jmma.To alot of zuffa only fans its cuz there isnt an option to watch alot of events.

I can see this garnering a good following stateside and paying dividends.

You also look past cokers announcement of putting on more shows and doing international shows which is a first for Bellator.

Bjorns ppv model would never have survived....i bought that ppv too but i guarantee i wouldn't have bought many more.

Theres a reason bjorn was tossed in favor of coker....

Bjorn wasnt making money and wanted to stick with ppv and tournaments with declining talent.Coker brought in a fresh direction and most importantly the longterm alliance idea uniting mma against zuffa with the rebirth of jmma helping to drive the federation to the top.


Honestly tho ask bjorn if he came back into mma if hed support the federation.
