Recently on 13 November, a press conference was held with Korean MMA superstar Choi Hong-Man to publicly declare that his high profile financial issues were resolved and accounted for.  The "Techno Goliath" had a 6-year comeback brutally spoiled at ROAD FC 026 in Japan, after which he said that the stifling media accusations were a highly invasive and negative influence.
 
Following the cathartic press conference, Choi was enthusiastic and said he wanted to immediately resume his MMA career. 
 
Therefore, Choi Hong-Man (35, Free) will be a competitor in the very first Openweight Tournament at December's ROAD FC 027 in China.

If only road fc adopts the global rule set like one champion than I'll watch. Not a fan of unified cage rules. ONE champion is the best you gonna get for cage structure.

Cage means nothing. The rules are the problem. ONE proves it again and again as they have exciting fights and high finishing rate even with the cage.

Yeah unified rules are the cancer of mma and the real contribution zuffa has made to the sport.

Cage existed before ufc as well as the previous incarnation of itself.


Rules are what makes fights exciting imo not necessarily the arena its in.

Its great when a sporting arena is based off of what fake wrasslin uses lol.

This was a decent event with alot of Asian MMA wierdness.  Good, fun watch.

I feel like alot of the fighters weren't briefed on the rules or something.  A few fighters got carded for inactivity.  They must have thought they were fighting under the Zuffa flag.

Chinese MMA is stepping up! Alot of good Chinese fighters on this card!

I can't take Road FC serious if they have Unified rules.
