That's good there will be a way to see it.

RVR with soccer kicks in a ring MMA event will be cool.  Might have to order this one.

In Athens Robin van Roosmalen is to face Greek fighter Athinodoros Michailidis. The Greek athlete who fights under English flag has 11 professional matches under his belt. He fought in numerous British organizations including UCMMA. In his last two matches he was defeated via judges’ decision which is definitely good news for Roosmalen.

And while the MMA program will be headlined by famous Roosmalen, the main event in the kickboxing part of the event will be a real treat since The Ukraine’s Pavel Zhuralev is to fight Holland’s Brain Douwes. Since the FFC light heavyweight champ in kickboxing, Igor Jurković, decided to put his career on hold and he vacated the championship position, Zhuralev vs. Douwes will decide on the new FFC champ. These two veterans do not need a special introduction. K-1 WPG semifinalist and one of the best kickboxers already fought in the FFC ring thrice. He KO’ed Italy’s Panto and Hollands’ Renfurm, but in the end he lost to Hesdy Gerges from Egypt at FFC event in Poreč. Meanwhile he won Legend’s tournament and fought mostly at King of Kings events where he scored a couple of significant wins.

Zhuralev vs. Douwes will not be the only title match in the Athens. FFC champion Samo Petje is to defend his belt for the third time against Greece’s best kickboxer Meletis Kakaoubavas. After a tough bout with Tigran Movsisyan in Rijeka, Croatia, the Slovenian fighter is to face even more difficult exam. Kakaoubavas is a seasoned professional and perhaps Petje’s toughest opponent so far in the FFC. However, the excellent kickboxer from Ljubljana managed to deal away with all opponents and he will surely deliver a great performance.
