Benson Henderson(23-5) to get immediate Title Shot against Andrey Koreshkov(18-1) at 'Bellator 153' on April 22

The co-main event for "Bellator 153: Koreshkov vs. Henderson" is set, with the news that Patricio "Pitbull" Freire (24-3) will compete against John "Macapa" Teixeira (19-1-2) in featherweight action on April 22 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn.

In addition, Connecticut's own "Irish" Brennan Ward (13-3) returns to action in his home state fresh off an impressive victory in Japan, when he welcomes Evangelista "Cyborg" Santos (20-16) into the Bellator MMA fray at 170-pounds.

Dude cyborg is gonna get destroyed lol will be fun to watch.

Pitbull vs macapa will be a great fight as well so far a very nice card.

Bellator has done a good job of turning Ward from tough guy bro-dude slugger to a well built up star now with international experience. I gotta give them credit because I genuinely root for the kid these days.

I HATED ward.....sounds like a white trash idiot.....but he is genuinely evolving his game and is fun as hell to watch.

Dude made me a fan i put him up there with diaz bros as most fun to watch box guys up.

I'm not a huge fan of Ward either but he definitely deserves the next title shot after beating Hasegawa at 179 in RIZIN under full rules and the run he has been on. It seems like Cyborg is a bit of a tune-up for that title shot.

Michael 'Venom' Page (9-0) vs. Jeremie Hitem Holloway (7-1) will fight at ‎Bellator153‬ on 4/22.

Page (9-0 MMA, 5-0 BMMA) will look to keep his perfect record intact when he faces Holloway (7-1 MMA, 0-1 BMMA), who recently suffered his first career defeat. Page has only been taken to a decision once in his career and most recently scored a TKO of Charlie Ontiveros at Bellator 144. He was scheduled to face Fernando Gonzalez in the Bellator 151 co-main event, but was forced to withdraw from the event. The bout with Holloway will be his first since this past October.

Holloway suffered a leg lock submission loss to Matt Secor in his promotional debut at Bellator 144. The loss was his first as a professional after picking up five stoppages in his seven career victories.

The main card line-up for "Bellator 153: Koreshkov vs. Henderson" on April 22 is now complete, with the addition of Brent Primus (6-0) versus "Toninho Furia" (27-5) in lightweight action.

Widely regarded as one of the sport's top prospects, Primus is a fighter who has sacrificed a fledging landscaping company that he owned in order to pursue his dreams of MMA gold. Primus returns to the Bellator MMA cage fresh off a hard-fought victory over Derek Anderson at "Bellator 141: Guillard vs. Girtz." Now, the Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt will look to apply his craft for the fifth time under the Bellator banner – making his first appearance during the SPIKE-televised main card.

Following his promotional debut, "Toninho Furia" has decided to make return to the 155-pound lightweight division from featherweight, where he last competed. The 27-year-old Brazilian Top Team product has competed professionally since 2005 and has won nine out of his last ten matchups. Furia has a proven affinity for ending fights early, with eight of his victories coming in the opening frame.

Page really needs to step it up in his next fight or his Bellator run is going to look like a total joke, if it hasn't already.

Koreshkov was bigger but he also won on skill as he looked great. I was pleasantly surprised as his takedown defense as he had nothing for Askren though Askren is a more decorated wrestler. I think this was another example that just because you came from the UFC, doesn't mean you're going to dominate elsewhere.

Great performance by Koreshkov. Bendo showed great chin and heart as usual. Hope to see him back at 155. Would like to see Bendo in RIZIN to fight Aoki in the future. That would be an interesting fight.

Very entertaining event overall. Page toe hold was impressive and nice upset by Cyborg over Ward.
