Russian refs are real men

I'm glad the ref in the Fedor/Maldonado fight let the fight go on so Fedor had a chance to recover and win the fight. Herb "the worst ref in history" Dean stopped the RDA/Alvarez fight when RDA hadn't even been knocked off of his feet. When it was stopped RDA just casually walked to his corner and wasn't even on shaky legs. MMA is a fight, let them fight.

The fighters have corners who can throw in the towel anytime they want. A fighter can tap out or verbally give up anytime he wants. Fighters don't need a ref stopping a fight because he is a beta male.

Definitely glad he let that go as well. A number of refs would have stopped it. Was great to see Fedor come back. Turned into a great fight which I saw as a draw.

Do you really think Dean is the worst ref or is it because Dana White always says he's the best and Zuffa Zombies then just repeat it?

People are so anti fedor or just complete idiots that Fedor was fighting back the whole time and Fabio missed a lot of punches plus a lot of shots fedor did take werent too hard...well not enough to finish the fight

What happened is fedor came in and got clipped (he slipped also) then fabio started punching ...fedor did regain position and was able to stand back up only when fedor turned his back did fabio land a sweet punch that made fedor do the chicken dance.... but after that fabio punched himself up and fedor recovered.

I have seen herb fucking dean let fights go on longer

^Both. I'm sure there are worse refs out there, but for one of the big name refs we see all the time, he has a huge amount of terrible stoppages.

Yeah including the Barao/Faber II and Rousey/McMann stoppages. Also, speaking of Rousey/McMann, Dean gave a late stoppage to Pyle/Waldburger earlier on.

Glad they didn't stop. Now that it is a draw he should do a rematch with Babo.
