I think CC vs Mo will be a very intriguing fight I could see that going either way and I think Herring is a good step up for Amir for his fourth fight should be better then his last opponent who he just demolished.Rizin=PRIDEFC wrote:Amir and CC in finals but I am not 100% writing off Herring to pull off upset.

It was excellent. Kitaoka was getting smashed bad and then puts Cruickshank out cold with the sub. Impressive.

This event has been great so far, the Japanese fighters have been very successful so far and Vadim Nemkov looked like a beast in his fight.

Nice win by Cro Cop. King Mo was one of the best fighters in the tournament and the winner of the GP from last year. I am pulling for Cro Cop to win the whole thing but he is going to have a tough fight in the finals.

Wow what an event, I stayed up for it and was not disappointed at all. Really didn't see Cro Cop finishing Mo like that but if your going to stand with Cro Cop then I shouldn't be surprised.
And also Heath Herring who looked terrible in the first round really came out to fight in the 2nd round giving Amir a much tougher fight then expected. All of a sudden now his next fight with Valentin doesn't look as simple as I initially would have thought as both Fedor students looked really good.
Anyways I can't wait for the next event, I think Rizin would be happy with the show tonight.

Agreed. Rizin should definitely be happy with that event. The event really delivered from the first bout on.

And does anybody else think Amir Aliakbari looks like Zangrief from Street Fighter?

That was the same feeling I got, I felt each fight had something to offer and it kept me up throughout the show. I'm running on 4 hours sleep I feel like a zombie. Can't wait to do it again lol.CDF47 wrote:King of the North wrote:Wow what an event, I stayed up for it and was not disappointed at all. I hear ya, I got about 5 hours of sleep and feeling the same way but also looking forward to round 2 coming up on NYE.
