After months of contractual disputes, Georges St-Pierre (25-2) has revealed that his UFC contract has been terminated.
He is now a free-agent.

Nice to see GSP say that Dana has been lying about him; saying that he can tell he doesn't want to fight anymore and all of that nonsense. He also called out the ufc for the Brock Lesnar situation. Everyone knows they were helping Lesnar get away with being juiced.

Either that or he's washed up and past his prime.

Don't you just love how the zombies use that excuse? In the UFC, they're the best in the world but when they struggle outside of it, they're past their prime cause to the zombies, a UFC gatekeeper should win a title easily anywhere else..

Now the ufc is saying GSP is still under contract. Looks like a legal battle is coming.

Honestly, I would love to see GSP in ONE just so I can see him fight Askren.
But, yeah, the UFC is becoming the third tier org it's always been.

This is another reason why guys like fedor and aoki never signed to the ufc they knew this type of thing would happenhttp://www.mmafighting.com/2016/10/19/13333778/georges-st-pierres-lawyer-calls-ufc-contract-something-out-of-the

People should read this article. Essentially, GSP got himself a powerful lawyer who has successfully sued the other huge three-letter sports organizations. This lawyer is saying that the UFC's contract would never hold up under legal scrutiny. "It is like something out of the 1940s" he said. The UFC is screwed.
By the way, GSP is cool and all, but is anyone else concerned he might be getting a little too old for this? I don't want to see a declining GSP. I liked the idea of him retiring on top.
