Rory MacDonald will make his Bellator debut in May as he will meet Paul Daley in main event of Bellator 179.

I am too. That really is the fight I wanted to see but this one is also really good. If Daley keeps this one standing I think he takes it.

MVP vs paul in the future would be great and as for rory vs paul yeah if paul can keep it standing he would win though i think rory will try and take it to the ground .

I think Rory is definitely going to try to take this to the ground. Daley and MVP is definitely a fight to make. There is a fight minute video of them arguing below:

Bellator announced on Friday the next challenge for rising welterweight star Michael Page (12-0). “MVP” will take on Derek Anderson (14-3-1) at Bellator 179 in London.

Page will look to add another win to his 12-0 undefeated record. Page has gained a big following with his flashy finishes and bright character. Page’s last performance was criticized by some in his split decision win over Fernando Gonzalez at Bellator 165.

Anderson will look to bounce back from a loss to Derek Campos at Bellator 170. “The Barbaric” holds a 14-3-1 professional MMA record and is 5-3 in Bellator. Anderson holds two Bellator wins over former Bellator title challenger Patricky Freire.

Daley/MVP is the fight to make

Another big fight Liam Mcgeary (12-1) vs. Linton Vassell (17-5, 1NC) set for Bellator MMA's return to London on 5/19.

Liam was in a good fight yesterday. Was worth watching. Very entertaining.

Bader should get next title shot. Winner of Vassel v Mcgeary should get the shot after that.

A heavyweight contest pitting Cheick Kongo (26-10-2) against the undefeated Augusto Sakai (9-0) has been added to the main card of  "Bellator 179: Daley vs Macdonald" at SSE Arena, Wembley in London, England, on May 19.

Kongo will be making his eleventh appearance under the Bellator MMA banner, looking to add to his impressive promotional mark of 8-2. The Paris native has fought a who's who in the mixed martial arts landscape, with notable wins against Mirko Cro Cop, Pat Barry, Matt Mitrione, and Alexander Volkov already on his record. In his last outing, Kongo impressively defeated Oli Thompson via unanimous decision.
 
Maintaining an unblemished record to begin his professional career, Sakai will face arguably his stiffest competition to date when he meets Kongo on May 19. With seven finishes in nine outings, the 24-year-old Brazilian finished Alex Huddleston at "Bellator 145: With A Vengeance."

Hope he does better this time around.

Since this is a number one contender fight who ever losses should be next to fight MVP and either one can give an idea on whether MVP is the real deal and can beat the top 5 .

I agree. Time for MVP to be tested at this level. It's a bit over due. Coker said he would be making a Daley/MVP fight so we'll see.

Some really good fights tomorrow! I should be watching live if anyone is on for live discussion in this thread.

Nice win for McDonald. He gets winner of Lima/Larkin for the title. WW division in Bellator is real solid. MVP and Daley almost had a brawl after the fight.
