Polaris Professional Jiu Jitsu Has Announced the Top end of the fight card fo Polaris 5 , Which takes place at the Indigo at the 02, In Greenwich, London, On Saturday August 19th.

Headlining the evening will be Dillon Danis, looking to avenge his only submission loss at black belt as he takes on Garry “The Lion Killer” Tonon.

Jake Shields, a veteran MMA fighter emerging as a dominant force in the professional submission grappling circuit, pits his American Jiu Jitsu against Dan ‘the Raspberry Ape’ Strauss, one of the biggest characters in British jiu jitsu, and a national and European champion.

Polaris welcomes MMA legend Brad ‘One Punch’ Pickett to its stage as he takes on Polaris veteran and former MMA fighter Phil Harris.

Fan favourite Vitor "Shaolin" Ribeiro rekindles the Brazil vs Japan rivalry taking on two time UFC title contender and legend of Japanese MMA, Caol Uno in a no-gi matchup.

These are all no-gi, 15-minute bouts to be contested under the Polaris rules, which encourage constant action over the duration of the bout.
