ACB 65 will not only bring some of the biggest names in the sport to the city of Sheffield but they will also bring ACB gold as the Light-Heavyweight belt will be on the line when ACB Champion, Thiago Silva, will make the first defence of the belt against the undefeated Russian prospect Batraz Agnaev.
Thiago Silva is one of the most dangerous fighters on the planet and has a career record of 19 wins with just 5 losses. He is a well known face in the world of MMA as we have seen him got toe-to-toe against some of the biggest names in the sport. Silva will have a huge experience advantage against the challenger, an advantage that has been carved out by him facing the best-of-the-best in the cage throughout his illustrious career.
Taking on this challenge and looking to claim gold and glory in Sheffield is the highly touted Russian prospect Batraz Agnaev. Undefeated, but with only 3 professional fights experience you may, at first glance, dismiss the chances of Agnaev but it is the manner in which he won those fights that have lead him so quickly to a title shot. With 3 first round wins including a spectacular KO against one of Europes best, Max Nunes, in Manchester back in March none of this mans fights have ever reached the 4th minute. Devastating power and an aggressive style have been his trademark but this will be by far his biggest and toughest challenge.
