The difference is that Vadim, Coker, and to some extent, Sakakibara build companies from the ground up while Dana had rich friends by one, make him president, and he fell ass backwards into success. We're clearly seeing how great Dana is right now without the Ferrtitas and when UFC aren't buying other companies out. He couldn't promote Ali/Frazier.

That is true they did build up their brand from the ground up ufc was already established the real annoying thing is that people think dana single handedly saved mma .

I remember one moron saying Dana was the most influential person in MMA history. Dana is a myth as zombies sell him as a promoting genius. I'm not saying Dana didn't put the work in but what did he do that nobody else would? Yeah, Dana single handedly saved MMA despite MMA booming in Japan and he was against The Ultimate Fighter. It's pretty easy to be a promoter when you buy out your competition and control the media in ways only countries with dictators do. Now look at him. He can't promote new stars, other companies are growing, and he's losing his grip on the media.

In reality the fans are/were the ones who ultimately saved the ufc I personally didn't buy any ufc events if it was not for the fans buying watching their product the ufc would not even be around.

They are the 2 best in the business and the fact that they're working together makes it so much better I don't care what people say I do see Rizin and bellator as the two top promotions on earth ufc is slowly loosing it's top spot and let's be real Rizin is what Asian mma is really about (the ring the 10min round GP oh and the rule set that will " kill you"

Oh and it would be great if m1 came part of the federation as well or at least work together with shows on the European seen ksw would be a great org to jump into bed with . I said a million time's this is the millionth and one time mma would be so much better if it was like this promotions working together fighters being able to fight in more than just one organization not to mention it would stop the "duh nut in da ufc oveeerated uh"

That would be great to see it is just amazing how guys like Fedor and mighty mouse get so much flak ufc didn't mean shit in Fedor prime as for mighty mouse the idiots yes idiots his scared of tj OK what makes tj so special ? Kinda ironic isn't it ? Fedor a "can crusher" he ducked the ufc yet mighty mouse who is the longest defending ufc champion yet is still a can crusher . As I said In my above post of how fighters should be judged on their career rather then whether if they fought in this organization or not That is why I hope the ufc falls from the top spot .

Yeah, that's pretty ridiculous. Mighty Mouse is one of the best UFC fighters of all time.
