Worth watching also i noticed that i assume kyoji karate teacher passed away in that case r.i.p to him. It was expected the man did look very ill in those rizin confessions but he probably died happy knowing how much success one of his students kyoji is having.

https://www.bjpenn.com/mma-news/demetrious-johnson/video-demetrious-johnson-says-collecting-all-other-world-titles-is-what-really-gets-me-excited/

I was wondering what do people think of this?

Realistically to be the best real best in your division you not only have to beat the top contenders but the other champions as well . In reality there is no sure fire way to see who really is the best because we don't or hardly have org vs org championship match.

Most people apart from us and whom ever else automatically think the ufc has all the best fighters yes the ufc does have great fighters. The fact is if you ask them how are ufc fighters the best? Because they are in the ufc which is what a person will typically get.

Of course the other thing they would be saying is he wants to take easier fights really how the fuck is fighting against another dominant champion an easier fight ?

It just boggles me these guys whether bellator, rizin, one fc etc these guys train just as hard as their ufc counterparts. Why can't they just once once say congratulations on winning the one fc belt  Rather then you never won the ufc belt so it doesn't count. You don't see us doing that i guess that is why they're called internet warriors .

DJ vs. Kyoji, Bibi, and Caldwell are definitely PPVs I would be purchasing. If he were to win those he could really claim to be the best FLW/BW in the world (ever) and the current P4P king and the second place GOAT.

Yeah, those fans don't care what belt it is, if it isn't the UFC they don't care.

Now that mighty mouse lost do you think he gets an automatic rematch? I bet he doesn't. I saw the octagon interview on YouTube and Henry was talking about fighting the winner of tj cody and people in the comments were saying Henry is s hero and dj a pussy yep dj is a pussy yep even though he went 14-2 at bantamweight he is a pussy apparently.

Still imagine if dj did leave and win all those other belts i would love to see him in a rematch with kyoji and fighting adriano Moraes i know he isn't the champ either i suspect he will get back soon.

Yeah, the way it sounded is like Henry will be fighting TJ at 135. Not sure where this leaves DJ. Not sure how many fights he has left on his contract but I would love to see him attempt that belt collection tour rather than remain in the UFC. I also wonder what this does with the 125 lbs division. UFC talked about getting rid of the division in the past so we'll see.

It would not surprise me if they got rid off it how did you see it? It was close but i don't think Henry should of gotten the nod because of a couple of take downs and then doing nothing. That's why pride/rizin judging criteria is the best it is not perfect but it is the best . Realistically they wanted dj off the pedestal for a while i do hope his contract ends soon and he does do his belt collection why not? I still laugh at the people who say his scared of bantamweights right he only fought 16x in that division but his scared that would be like if fedor dropped down to light heavyweight and then people saying his scared of heavyweight fighters.

Watching the rena kanna rematch yes i understand the whole Japanese don't care about loses thing but i still do believe the rematch happened too soon. To be honest if i was rena coach i would of told her to gain more mma experience and train a bit more before fighting asakura who in my opinion is one of the top 3 in that division world wide.

Im not making excuses or being an ovary huger i picked asakura to win i just believe the rematch would of been more interesting a few years down the track.

If he doesn't then UFC further proves they're a joke. I'm not into Mighty Mouse but how can you not give him a rematch giving his dominance and the close decision? Not to mention, Dillashaw should be defending next against Moraes. I could see UFC not giving MM a rematch because they probably don't want him as champion giving he's been a bad draw.

^^ it just shows what kind of fans the ufc has im a huge dj fan not because of his Division i could never make 125 i would die but because of his style extremely well rounded cardio for days technical and with a winners mind set and wanting to improve. I know they prefer the ones that throw water bottles at each other and cuss on twitter.

It was close. Sucks he lost by a few takedowns that lead to no damage at all. Yeah, DJ isn't scared of any fighter.

That's interesting. I think DJ should still be the champ. I don't think Henry did what it took to take the title from a P4P best fighter due to some meaningless takedowns. The scoring should have been under the new system.

There's no doubt, DJ deserves an immediate rematch for sure. Doubt he will get it though like you guys are thinking.

We all know the ufc was wanting to get rid of dj for a while the fact that the fight was in LA it makes you wonder if it was a home town decision.

Interesting read this is that is why fedor and gsp are my two goats because fedor didn't cut weight and gsp he says he walks around 185 183 he can bulk up to 190 but 83 85 is his usual that's only 15lbs 13lbs. People have to remember there is a difference between size and weight.

Those are interesting stats. Never seen them posted on the web like that for an entire card by Bloodyelbow. Yeah, that should definitely play a role in the MMA GOAT and P4P rankings and discussions.

Vovchanchyn just had his 45th birthday which I figured I point out. Anyway, I agree. While there is an argument on the caliber of opponents he had, his schedule was ridiculous. His busiest was fighting nine times in one month. Even if you fought cans, can you imagine fighting nine times in one month and three tournaments as well? Dude was an iron man. Not to mention he's 5'8 with a 68 inch reach and was fighting at heavyweight. Sadly, Vovchanchyn has become somewhat forgotten as his prime was in the 90s and in Europe where many weren't watching and footage isn't the easiest to obtain. Then he started to decline right as PRIDE began to take off and he largely has been quiet since 2005.
