That is impressive. Great news they got Minakov re-signed. First, Chandler and now Minakov!

Ha Ha I posted this because the difference between the ufc and pretty much everyone else is say Bellator or rizin for examples can sell a whole card the ufc can only sell one fight. Sometimes two.

I hope so too. Coker said he wants to talk to Eddie so they will be competing for his contract. A trilogy fight with Chandler would have to be booked. A possible fight with Primus would also be cool.

I remember when I use to look forward to a number of fights on a UFC card before they got over-saturated.

We're already seeing it as UFC seems like they're ignoring their September shows and going right into 229 which isn't until October. They did this last year as they spent so much time hyping the boxing fight and ignored the events near it or didn't come close to hyping them. Does UFC even give us a reason to care about the Fight Nights besides no Joe Rogan and sometimes no Bruce Buffer? They're also coasting on the FOX shows. I don't understand why it's so hard for UFC to hype their events unless it's something with a superstar? If anything, they don't need to hype the McGregor stuff that much because they'll easily sell. The other events desperately need attention.

Dana is like the Wizard of Oz. For so long people act like he was the be all, end all of MMA. Interestingly enough, critics have said for the longest time anybody could do his job or he wasn't anything without the Fertitas and their money. Now, we're pretty much seeing that. A lot of people who said he was just a guy in the right place at the right time who had rich friends are proving true. In the end, Zuffa and Dana prove they had luck than skill at their side. Their success was nothing but falling into one good break after another. The Ultimate Fighter was a last ditch effort that nobody could predict how successful it was and something Dana was against. Then the UFC was fortunate PRIDE self-destructed, Scott Coker got in bed with the wrong people in running Strikeforce, and they were able to buy those promotions and WEC & WFA. Now, the older stars are gone, the Fertitas are gone, UFC can't buy out other companies, and TUF has run it's course. Since then, Dana can't build anyone else into a star and he's doubling down on old tricks like more reality shows to find new stars. Meanwhile, he continues to trash fighters who don't put on the right performance which gives fans more reason not to care. Look at how he acted like Ngannou would be the next heavyweight champion to constantly burying him.

^^ I agree wholeheartedly with that statement ^^
Yes Dana did do a lot for mma I won't deny that he really was only one small part. I will say who really saved the ufc and boosted mma in the west it was the fans, the average person who spends money on their products if they didn't there wouldn't be a ufc.

Still it is weird how they have had the luck they have had of course the answer is a combination of things none clean mostly dirty.

Lorrnzo Fertita used his board seat on NSAC to deny Art Davies approval in Nevada and then immediately purchased the UFC at a fire sale price. I doubt that was the end of the dirty dealing.

That is a real dirty trick they pulled to buy the UFC.

Can you blame him? What else is he going to do? Buffer is like Rogan in he needed to go a long time ago or at least be demoted to the fight nights. Talk about another tired act.

His surname is buffer so he likes buffering something man I bet it really pisses them off when a mma fighter says "I don't need the ufc.

Says he has no regrets not signing to the ufc and yes the zombies well on facebook are bitching about it like they always do because how dare someone choose their own career they're supposed to listen to what they say. One person said he should of taken the pay cut and signed to the ufc. Proves my point doesn't it?

Yeah, it's good to see the fighters have other options and be able to sign to the promotion they choose.
