Jiu-jitsu standout A.J. Agazarm signs with Bellator

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu has always had a key place in mixed martial arts. Today, another big name from competitive grappling announced that he’s making a jump into the fighting world as AJ Agazarm revealed he’s signed to Bellator.

The Gracie-Barra black belt from Los Angeles by way of Florida boasts an impressive set of credentials, including the IBJJF world no-gi championship in 2014 and a second-place ADCC finish in 2014. He also boasts a collegiate wrestling background, having competed at Ohio State University.

Agazarm has been seen around Los Angeles training with notable names in the MMA world in recent months, including Nick Diaz.
