this award show has about as much legitimacy as the spike tv video game awards, being "zuffa biased" doesn't make it any worse.

We would praise their courage to not suck zuffa's balls, but we would not be their fanboys because of that.

This awards really sucked and lots of the winners really do not deserved the prize. Not that it matters or someone cares about this event but still it would be much better for them to give it to people that really deserve it so they could have their talent recognized. Want it or not these media things have influence over what people think, and if the media is a zuffa nuthugger most of the people will be too, unfortunately.

First of all the year is not over so "of the year" does not make sense.

Second and much more important, without exception absolutely all award shows for anything (movies, music, video games, any sort of sports award)
are stupid in concept, and nothing more than an attempt to bring in advertiser's money without actually creating anything.

On top of that look how lame, awkward and uncomfortable everyone behaves at those things. Unwatchable garbage.

Apparently it is. Like in boxing if you're not in america you're not good.

Funny thing is they're all from UFC, with the exception of Hansen, that they probably put there to be the non-Zuffa token.

Overeem international mma fighter of the year, pff yeah rite, not that he's earned that at all anyway, but if he hadn't just signed with the ufc he would'nt have got that.
