Lombard vs Boestch this weekend...

Lombard is the better fighter on paper, but Boetsch is tough to put down. Hoping Lombard beats him in a quick fashion so we can see him against Silva.

True. I think Lombard being a beast and Boetsch being tough will make a great fight. I'm expecting this to be one of the best fights on this card. Both will go for the kill. No way we can miss this one.

Boetsch finished Okami so I´m not sure how this fight will go. Lombard should be the faster fighter.

Any post fight interviews with Lombard? The guy choked hard there. Very disappointing.

Lombard needs to go back to Belllator and fight in the bush league where he belongs, beating up rednecks until his juice runs out. Pathetic performance after all that hype.

I'm all for Lombard either staying at middleweight for a fight against a mid-tier guy or moving down to welterweight, where he belongs.

Tbh I never bought the Lombard hype. He´s very good but Boetsch is also good. Send them to M-1 and we´ll see what they´re made of.

If we're being honest, both Boetsch and Lombard suck and so did this fight.

I'm inclined to agree with you on this one. Over-hyped and no-dimensional.
How can a Olympic-level Judoka not use his clinches, throws & trips in his MMA fighting attack. Wtf? On that alone he should be able to out-point guys. These American camps are a bit f***ng ridiculous teaching guys with Hector's grappling abilities to circles their opponents at distance in the center of the ring playing jab'sies and throw the odd haymaker.

For 3-minutes...
Joe Rogan: "Boetsch is former-champion high school wrestling champion with a record of 143-.05 who graduated with a 2.1 GPA... and then attended a college no one's ever heard of... and did nothing nationally or internationally... but he has the best sprawl & upper body control we've ever seen from a wrestler in the history of the UFC... and since he started in May of this year, he's become a very good technical striker Mike!"
For 3 seconds half way through the fight...
Joe Rogan: "Oh yeah... Hector was on the Cuban Olympic Judo Team"

"American" Top Team is pretty much only American in name. A majority of the coaches and trainers are Brazilian. Funny how Lombard completely smashed Shlemenko and looked terrible against Boetsch.

Ah yes, the old triangle theory approach.
However, for whatever reasons, he obviously didn't fight against Boetsch like he's fought in his past fights. I don't know why, but the premise of your comment is obviously flawed.

True. And Shlemenko was not even at his best.

Lombard vs. Pahares is a perfect match up now. Loser has to grow 3 inches in height :kappa:
