EFC Africa signs programming deal with Fight Now TV; EFC Africa 15 airs today

Extreme Fighting Championship, Africa's largest MMA promotion, has signed a programming deal with Fight Now TV.

Fight Now TV, the television partner of MMAjunkie.com and MMAjunkie.com Radio, will air 11 live events starting Friday with EFC Africa 15.

EFC and Fight Now TV officials recently announced the deal, which will have the network, the only 24-hour combat sports channel in the country, airing all of EFC's live events in 2013.

On Friday, EFC Africa 15 airs live from Johannesburg, South Africa, at 4:40 p.m. ET. In addition to a live broadcast on Fight Now TV, EFC Africa 15 will air on Ustream.TV for $7.95.

With headquarters in Johannesburg, EFC Africa currently produces eight events a year, all in Africa.

Along with live EFC Africa fights, Fight Now TV also plans to air past EFC events, as well.

EFC Africa 15 features a main event light heavyweight title fight between South Africans Normal Wessels and J.P. Joubert.
