I was hoping for something like Zayats vs. Grishin or Nemkov or any combination or those guys but Kornev vs. Zontek isn't a bad afight.

Kornev is 4-2 with M-1 and Zontek is 2-0 with M-1. A good opportunity to these guys (and a cheap champion for M-1 to pay! haha just kidding).

zontek has looked good in m-1 but kornev was semi retired not that long ago..

I just don't see Monson at 205 personally, at least not in M-1.

Yeah Kornev is coming off a loss so his slot is questionable. Narkun vs. Zontek could've been cool, Poland fighting for the M-1 LHW strap.

With all this lack of news considering the vacant LHW title, hopefully that means they're putting a little grand prix together for it. That would be best for everyone involved with M-1. The fighters, the company, and the fans.

If they can get Monson, then the field should easily be filled with Zayats, Nemkov, and Narkun. A true champion would be crowned. Grishin could fight the winner of the Challenge final.

I really don't think this is for the true title, otherwise this makes no sense.

Exactly. Same here. Glad to see they are already scheduling a LHW title fight but I expected a bit more out of the match-up.
